Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Knooz account is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to enhance the security of your account:
Step 1: Download Google Authenticator
First, download the Google Authenticator app to your iOS or Android mobile device. If you already have the app, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Log in to Your Knooz Account
Log in to your Knooz account. If you do not have an account yet, please Sign Up.
Step 3: Access Profile Settings
Locate the profile icon in the top right corner of your Knooz account dashboard and click on it. From the dropdown menu, select "Profile Settings."
Step 4: Enable Google Authentication
Navigate to the Security Settings section and click the "Enable" button next to the 2FA
option.
Step 5: Set Up Google Authenticator
Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device and scan the QR code displayed on the screen. Alternatively, you can enter the code manually. Once done, enter the 2FA code generated by the app into the appropriate field on the Knooz platform and click ‘Enable 2FA’.
Step 6: Log in Using 2FA
Log in to your Knooz account again. After entering your username and password, you will be prompted to enter the 6-digit 2FA code from your Google Authenticator app. Remember, Google Authenticator generates a new code every 30 seconds.
